Do you enjoy working outdoors and take pride in your work? If so, this is the role for you! We are seeking an energetic Gardener to join our Horowhenua team, on a permanent, full-time basis (40 hours per week). Reporting to the Team Manager and working closely alongside other individuals, you will be responsible for general garden maintenance across multiple sites. Your duties will include planting, weeding, pruning, and vegetation control tasks - always making sure maintenance is top-notch, timely, and planned, while keeping things safe for the public, your team, and yourself.
Job Requirements
• A current, full driver’s licence with the ability to drive a manual • A willingness to accept responsibility and ownership of jobs whilst working as part of a wider team - helping out your teammates needs to be second nature • Have knowledge of health and safety practices relevant to the job • Excellent relationship building and communication skills • Tons of motivation with a strong desire to get the job done • Must also be able to pass a drug test
