Silver Fern Farms are currently looking for Secondary Butchery Workers for Night Shift only. Meat Packing, Trimming, individual wrap, box lining, and scanning. Previous convictions are ok and will be assessed on a case by case basis.

Pre employment drug test required - swab testing as opposed to urine testing - this can detect up to 4-5 days. Ability to get to work reliably. MOJ required. Case by case with criminal convictions - needs to have a discussion about this. Team player. Eager to be at work every day. Eager to advance in an organisation that will develop those from within. Reliability is a must. Go-get-it attitude. If you are signed up with the union, you will also received an extra $1.50 per hour as you will be paid for donning and doffing. ACC history check is required to be declared fit for industry. MOJ required.
