Support Worker

Emerge Aotearoa is a national provider of mental health, addiction, disability, offender rehabilitation, wellbeing and housing services. They are now hiring Support Workers to join the team. In this role you will join clients on their well-being journey, providing a safe environment and supporting them with their goals and daily tasks with the focus of empowering and supporting clients to be independent, to maintain their wellness and achieve their goals as you walk alongside them and assist in any way possible.

Ideally, you'll have:

-Experience in Mental Health Support- preferred but not essential. -National Certificate in Mental Health Support Work (Level 4) or commitment towards obtaining the relevant minimum qualification. -Full New Zealand Driving License -Strong computer skills -A 'can-do' attitude -The ability to demonstrate strong personal and professional boundaries -A caring and supportive attitude -The flexibility to take on a variety of shifts. In addition to driving change in YOUR community, you'll be doing so in a national organisation with opportunities for you to grow and develop, with five to ten days of paid study leave, free counselling and three days of well-being leave and you'll join a group of people that live by our values.
