Security Officer

A Whangarei based employer is currently seeking 2x Hospital Security Officers to join their busy team.

This position is best suited to someone with a strong customer service focus, a positive, outgoing attitude and disposition you will be well suited to the role.

Our hospital security officers are not only there to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors, but also to assist with any queries or to simply point members of the public in the right direction if they do not know where to go.

If you can keep calm under pressure, have empathy and genuinely enjoy helping people, can think on your feet and act quickly to de-escalate situations then we would like to meet you to discuss this role.

This is a part-time role on a rostered 20 hours per week, working either day shift 6am- 6pm or night shift 6pm – 6am, with flexibility to work both shifts.

As a minimum these will include: Driver Licence, Ministry of Justice Criminal History Check and drug test • Security experience preferred • Hold a current Certificate of Approval (COA) Security Licence (preferable) or be able to obtain one • Must have a clean criminal record • Must have own reliable transport • Must have Class 1 Full driver license • Must be physically fit
