Company specialising in Civil Construction are looking to hire experienced Class 2, 4 and 5 Truck drivers
Position Requirements
2+ Years in Driving and Tipping Trucks in the Civil Sector Navigate and work in Tandem with Digger Operators when loading Soil and Aggregate Able to and want to transfer Driving skills to: Driving and Operating Concrete Truck, Transporter, Hiab, HydroVac (training provided) Be Accountable for maintenance/servicing/Fuelling and reporting any issues relating to the Trucks Be Physically Fit and Self-motivated and be able to communicate clearly to co-workers Drug Free Maintain Log-Books and other documentation. Be responsible for Health and Safety on site and while operating Trucks and heavy machinery Attend Daily on-site toolbox meetings to ensure you have a full understanding of potential hazards on-site. Report any incidents/accidents immediately Be a Team Player and a solution focused Remuneration
This position will be working across the greater Auckland City Area including: Roading and footpath upgrade Packages, Safety upgrades, speed humps and tables, Subdivision works.
This is primarily a Monday – Friday, full time-permanent position based out of our Central Auckland - Penrose Depot. Hours of work are schedule from Monday to Friday between 7am to 5.30 pm , with optional work available on the weekend. The Hourly Rate ranges from $29.66 – $33.00 per hour, with 4 weeks Annual Leave (Accrual over a Year) Minimum guaranteed hours we pay are 30 hours per week. Maximum hours will be paid at the same hourly rate. (except for Public Holidays as per Employment Agreement) Full Uniform and PPE Provided Transport and Car pooling options available to sites
Training and Development
Refresher courses and Licenses are offered at the companies’ expense. Quarterly intakes are scheduled for 1st Aid and Construct Safe. Monthly Toolbox Meetings are held with a Health and Safety focus – partnered with H&S representative.
