About this job
Are you a passionate, very experienced, and highly skilled chef who loves providing excellent Asian food for catering events? You will be responsible to preparing and making a variety of Asian dishes from Chinese, Japanese and other inspired Asian dishes.
This is a small but very busy team, so reliability is essential, and we require an energetic and flexible person with good communication skills who enjoys working in a small team.
Job Requirements
• Must have experience in bulk cooking as you will be cooking for 400-500 people.
• Asian cuisine restaurant or function experience is essential.
• Be able to cook such dishes as pork belly, spicy garlic prawns, chow Mein etc.
• Must be able to work flexible hours starting from 6am Monday to Sunday rostered shifts, hours, and days to be confirmed.
• Minimum two years’ experience.
• Own transport as you will be working in a Mount Roskill location.
