Weekend Cook
About this job
A local rest home is requiring a weekend Cook to work on the weekends. Hours are Saturday and Sunday from 7.00am – 2.30pm. There may also be some kitchen hand work during the week also. Ideally you will have previous cook or chef experience as you will be cooking meals for about 24 residents. You will need to have a current food handling certificate or be able to get one. Previous cooking experience in a rest home environment is ideal, have a great work ethic, and be able to work independently as well as being a team player.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a 167 food handling certificate, have some previous cooking experience preferably in a rest home environment, have a great work ethic, and be able to work independently as well as being a team player. Must be double vaccinated as a minimum.
