General Labourer

An established construction company is looking for experienced labourers to join their Civil Contracting team, currently with contracts in Kihikihi. Immediate start is available for the right person.
Labourer, you'll be engaged in a range of responsibilities including shovelling, hand digging, truck driving, and chainsaw operation for tree clearing on roadways. You'll also be involved in traffic management, spotting machines, and road works involving asphalt, concreting, and paving.
This would be a good position for people based in Hamilton, Cambridge, Te Awamutu, Otorohonga and surrounding areas.
Pay rate based on experience and licenses.
Job Requirements
The ideal person for this role will have; •Previous Experience in civil construction/road building an advantage •A sound knowledge in earthworks, site works, machinery operation and other civil construction activities. •A strong commitment to Health & Safety in the workplace. •Working around services and able to work unsupervised •Wheels, tracks & rollers/truck licenses are an advantage. •MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT
