Traffic Controller

A Traffic Controller is needed to support the STMS in charge to implement and supervise temporary traffic management.

You will be needing to: - Communicate efficiently with the STMS, customers, and public to ensure smooth operation. - Follow STMS instructions at all times. - Be vigilant and attentive to traffic situations. - Thinking ahead, able to identify, and manage actual or potential traffic hazards. - Use equipment such as radiotelephones, tools, and other equipment.

What you'll be doing: - Assembling safety fences and signs. - Attend safety meetings and contributing to safety discussions. - Maintain plant and equipment and doing pre-start checks. - Complete paperwork and timesheets. - Attend and complete all training courses provided as required. - Fulfil any other duties as required.

We are looking for someone who uses a professional approach, has the ability to work under pressure, and has excellent attention to detail.

This role starts off on a casual/temp basis but can move into a perm position.

- Full Class 2 License is preferred - TTM Worker or TMO-P certs are desirable. - Relevant industry experience - Health and Safety and Site Traffic Management - A good level of physical fitness - Communication Skills - Attention to detail - Teamwork and time management - Reliable transport - Pass a pre-employment drug test - Minor convictions to be considered
