Laboratory Technician Trainee

A Mt Wellington Employer is looking for an entry level Laboratory Technician to join the team. Have at least 6 months' experience in a labourer role. You will need to be hands-on doing labouring work where you may get covered in dirt from carrying out testing on aggregates, soil, asphalt, and environmental monitoring.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test and hold a minimum Full class 1 driver licence.
Minor convictions may be considered
Job Requirements
• 6 months labouring experience • Must have full class 1 driver licence (Class 2 is advantageous) • Interest in civil space • Comfortable with getting dirty as this is a hands on role testing soil • Physically fit • Able to get to Mt Wellington as a base • Must be flexible flexible with time, as sometimes needed for night and weekend field testing • Must pass pre-employment drug test • MOJ - case by case basis (Minor convictions may be considered)
