An Upper Hutt-based organization is looking for a Social Worker to join their team. Preferably people with experience in community work. As you will play a vital role supporting families holistically in wellbeing, have a passion to work with families in need and reintegrating families back into the community. Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to know our community in Upper Hutt, possess great networking skills and have a get up and go attitude!
As you are working in a marae, knowledge of Maori culture would be an advantage. A full car licence is also preferred, however, can be discussed with employer.
A police vetting check may also be undertaken.
If you are studying or have a degree in social work, this too, would be an advantage - however, is not essential.
