Arborgen is looking for 80+ Nursery Workers for the Upcoming 2024 Season. Work is located 5km from Tokoroa township.

Starting in April there will be two teams. 1st- Cutting and setting Crew (40 people) Their role will be Snipping pine tree cuttings in the morning, then planting them in the afternoon (hands and knees) full training provided.

2nd -Lifting Crew (40 People) . Starting a few weeks later pulling out last year’s tree seedlings which are about 6-8 inches long, checking Roots QC, and packing into boxes of 100.- full training provided.

Successful candidates, who are Drug free, fit and healthy and willing to work outside in all weathers. (Employer provides wet weather gear and gumboots) will be offered Seasonal work lasting for between 3-6 months.

Job Requirements

FULL TRAINING PROVIDED. applicants need to be available (week or two after Easter ), must be fit and healthy and be able to work in all weather conditions. Some bending of backs & knees is required so you must be prepared and capable for this. You need to be drug free - Random Testing may also occur.
