Disability Support Worker

Support workers are needed for a community-based disability service in Rotorua. The organisation primarily offers residential services as well as supported living services to members of their community.
The organisation is seeking workers that are enthusiastic and who are creative team members to fill casual, part time and/or full-time roles to work across their 24/7 residential homes and support and encourage the independent living of its residents.
No prior experience in the health and disability sector is necessary, but a strong desire to pursue a career as a Support Worker with a positive attitude is highly valued. Full training and orientation will be provided to individuals who demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Job Requirements
• Must be local with permanent resident and/ or full working visa. • Must have Qualification in Health and Wellbeing or willing to obtain. • Must be Passionate to work with people with a disability. • Must understand working with people with complex needs. • Must have Computer literacy. • Must have Valid FULL driver’s license is essential. • Must have Valid first aid certificate or willing to obtain. • Must be able to pass a MOJ
