Food Process Worker

A Motueka employer is currently looking for Food Process Workers and Forklift Operators in the Ice Cream, Mussels and Fish Factories, as well as Forklift Operators and General Hand Labourers in Yard, Cold Store. In these roles, you could be working in the 1/2 shell mussel or marination or fish processing teams. Duties may include processing, grading, packing, forklift operating and general labouring. Both day and night shifts are available and full training will be provided. Applicants must be able to pass a Pre-employment drug test. Assistance available with transport and accommodation.
Job Requirements
To be successful you will need to be physically fit, able to cope with the manual nature of some tasks, have good communication, along with good literacy and numeracy skills, ability to follow Health and Safety, food safety policies, have a good work ethic and great work history. Criminal convictions considered on a case by case basis.
