McDonalds in West Auckland seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join their team as Shift Managers. As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their restaurants during assigned shifts. You will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of crews, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring the overall success of the shift.
Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant Crew during assigned shifts - Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in the restaurant - Role model, enforce, and educate company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and employee conduct - Communicate effectively with other Shift Managers to provide feedback and identify opportunities, results and restaurant needs - Actively seek out opportunities to coach and develop restaurant Crews and drive performance - Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner Execute the restaurant marketing plan to maximise sales and ensure that the plan is communicated to all Crew on shift
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in the food services - Strong leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and manage a team - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written - Time management skills to prioritise tasks and handle multiple responsibilities - A focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction is highly valued - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
