Dairy Farm Assistant
About this job
The farm assistant role covers milking, stock movement, animal health, fencing, animal nutrition, tractor work, and other general farm maintenance. We're committed to helping people reach their potential, with dedicated on-farm and external training provided. Accommodation - shared accommodation - Farm Size (Ha) 450 - Peak Cows 1450 - On-Farm Staff: 8 - Mainly flat farm milking approx 1400 cows through a 60-bale rotary shed. - Standard roster is 8/2 8/3, with some flexibility. Double rotation 8 days on / 2 days off 8 days on / 3 days off (50 hours per week)
