Tower Structure Maintainer - Trainee

We have several trainee roles available for fit and motivated people to join our hard-working team of Tower Painters. Our job is demanding and exciting, as we climb, water blast and paint live transmission towers around New Zealand.

We have bases in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch but much of the year the towers work can also be outside the main regions. We work all over the country, from top to bottom, so often the job involves working away from home for weeks and months at a time. A hardworking attitude is key to succeeding in this role.

We are looking for Trainees who can grow into our team, so no experience is necessary. Ideally you will have some work experience in working as part of a team but Attitude is the key thing here! We will provide extensive on job training as being safe on site and supporting you to gain a Level 4 Qualification is vital to our success. You will also need the following qualities:

A hardworking and positive attitude Ability to work in a small and focused team Eagerness to listen and to learn Willingness to move throughout New Zealand for work sometimes being away from home for months (expenses covered and allowance paid) Willing and able to pass regular drug and alcohol testing Having a full NZ Drivers licence is preferred
