Jump onboard our deep-water fleet, a league of 11 fishing vessels anchored in the vibrant port of Timaru. These vessels are more than boats; they're a blend of dedication and teamwork, delivering the finest New Zealand seafood to tables around the world, each dish telling a story of the deep blue sea.

We have contractor (self-employment) opportunities available. As a general hand, you'll be the beating heart of our crew, working hand in hand with the skipper, factory manager, and the entire crew onboard. From the art of the catch to the skill of processing and packing, you'll be crafting experiences that excite taste buds worldwide.

Life on the rolling sea isn't for the faint of heart - it's for the courageous, the relentless, the ones who dare to dream bigger. For up to 42 days, you'll live and breathe alongside your crewmates, making connections that last a lifetime. The voyage is continuous, operating around the clock (24/7), showcasing our solid dedication. With shift patterns of 6 - 8 hours on and the same off, gives you the unique rhythm of life at sea. General hands are normally expected to work 12 weeks on and 6 weeks off, with a few days on land in-between. The perfect job for working hard, then hardly working! Embrace a life where both hard work and leisure come together. Enjoy endless amounts of food, stay connected with Wi-Fi, and earn all year-round while only working 6-8 months, crafting your own sea story. You'll have plenty of time to spend time with family and friends ashore.

Physical and mental fitness are essential on this adventure. The safety and wellbeing of everyone onboard our vessels is our key priority. It should therefore come as no surprise that we take a zero-tolerance stance on drug and alcohol use in our workplace, testing for these substances is mandatory and regular. A pre-engagement medical, including drug and alcohol testing, safeguards the well-being of everyone aboard.
