An iconic retail company, Kiwi brand serving the New Zealand market for over 100 years, our Auckland branches are now hiring for Retail Management: • Sales and Service Managers (Department Managers) • Assistant Store Managers.
We are seeking people who can bring their expert guidance and encouraging attitude to lead and support a team. If you are an inspirational manager who can work with people of different personalities and backgrounds, support their strengths and weaknesses and train them to be the best they can be, then we may have a role for you.
Store Management team have direct responsibility for the financial performance of the store. Management roles set the direction required to enable great performance, and develop the same commercial focus across the team, while ensuring company standards including compliance, retail disciplines and human resources are adhered to. We know that retail is ever changing, so we'll expect our managers to also explore new ideas, collaborate and innovate.
The management roles will:
• Drive a customer service strategy so that the store is renowned for outstanding customer service • Improve the commercial performance of the store by increasing its sales turnover and managing controllable costs • Ensure that your leadership team recruit, develop and retain a motivated, engaged and high performing team • Ensure our world class visual merchandising standards are executed and maintained to our high levels of expectation • Motivate, inspire and engage the team, creating a high performing team committed to each other and its customers If this is you apply now, send your CV to tess.ilagan001@msd.govt.nz for an online application and quote this Job Id as your reference
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have :
• Retail experience managing a store with a large team (medium to large formats) • Great organisational and planning skills, and the ability to prioritise workloads to effectively meet deadlines • A passion for excellence in customer service, sales, visual merchandising and operations • A proven history leading high performing teams to success in a sales environment • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders • A high level of strategic focus and a strong commercial acumen skillset You must pass police check and drug free
