A family owned produce wholesaler located just south west of Palmerston North is looking for a reliable and organised Dispatcher to join their team. This role is responsible for managing the dispatch of fresh produce and ensuring orders are accurately prepared, loaded, and ready for collection and delivery.

Duties include coordinating closely with the Packhouse Manager, operating processing line machinery, using computer systems to fulfil orders, preparing and checking outgoing goods, coordinating collections with transport providers, loading and unloading palletised products, and completing dispatch and invoicing paperwork. The role may also involve operating a counterbalance forklift and supporting general warehouse activities.

This is a hands on role that requires regular lifting of produce crates weighing up to 20kg. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, able to juggle multiple tasks at once, physically fit, and capable of working well in a fast paced environment. Previous dispatch, warehousing, forklift, or food production experience would be an advantage.
