Vegetable Grader

A produce grower located just south west of Palmerston North is looking for reliable staff to join their packhouse team. This hands on role involves working on a vegetable processing line sorting, grading, and preparing fresh produce ready for distribution to supermarkets.
Duties include grading vegetables based on quality and size, removing damaged produce, meeting packing targets, maintaining quality standards, and cleaning machinery and work areas at the end of each shift. There may also be some basic paperwork involved, including pack out sheets, quality control records, and cleaning logs.
This role involves working in a dusty environment and completing repetitive tasks throughout the day. The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail, be physically fit, reliable, and able to work well in a fast paced team environment while following food safety procedures.
Job Requirements
Good eye sight Ability to read and write Must have your own vehicle and a minimum of restricted drivers licence to get to get to Tiakitahuna reliably. Must pass MOJ check
