As an established leader in New Zealand’s domestic citrus industry, we are entering an exciting phase of growth and expansion. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Seasonal Production supervisor to join our successful team at our packhouse in the peaceful rural location of Patutahi, Gisborne.

About the Role This is a permanent position with guaranteed minimum hours of 24 per week. During our main citrus packing season (March to September), you will play a key role in ensuring efficient production and high-quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include: Setting up, operating, and monitoring packing machinery throughout production runs Working closely with the production team to optimise fruit quality and pack-out results for growers Maintaining accurate production and compliance documentation Communicating effectively with team members and relevant stakeholders Identifying, reporting, and escalating maintenance issues promptly
About You To be successful in this role, you will: Have previous machine operation or production experience Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards Be comfortable working in a team-oriented environment Have good communication skills Be flexible and available to work extended hours, including weekends and potential evening shifts during peak season

Job Requirements
Previous experience in a similar position, ideally within fruit or food processing Strong attention to detail, with effective planning and prioritisation skills Excellent verbal English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment A proactive, solution-focused mindset with strong troubleshooting abilities A positive, friendly attitude and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Good physical fitness, including the ability to safely lift up to 20kg The ability to remain calm, diplomatic, and productive when working under pressure Ability to pass drug test and MOJ check. Have an updated C.V
Additional Requirements: Reliable personal transport to and from work (Patutahi is approximately 15km from Gisborne) A current forklift licence is advantageous but not essential

- Monday to Friday maybe Saturday, between 6am – 5pm, needs to be flexible with days and hours these may vary. (30 hours per week)
