We are seeking a motivated and reliable Tyre & Automotive Technician to join our team. This role involves tyre fitting, wheel alignments, vehicle servicing, WOF repairs, and general automotive maintenance. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Tyre Services Fit, repair, rotate, and balance tyres on passenger, SUV, 4WD, and light commercial vehicles. Conduct tyre inspections and provide recommendations to customers. Perform puncture repairs in accordance with industry standards. Maintain tyre inventory and workshop equipment.
Wheel Alignment & Balancing Carry out wheel alignments using alignment equipment. Diagnose and correct tyre wear and handling issues. Perform wheel balancing to manufacturer specifications.
Automotive Servicing & Repairs Complete routine vehicle servicing, including oil and filter changes. Inspect brakes, suspension, steering, batteries, and other vehicle components. Carry out mechanical repairs as required. Diagnose basic vehicle faults and recommend appropriate repairs.
Job Requirements
Atleast 2 years of previous experience in tyre fitting and automotive servicing required. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail. Good communication and customer service skills. Full New Zealand Driver Licence. Own transport to get to and from work. Ability to pass police check and drug test

- Monday to Friday from 8.30am - 5.00pm - some overtime can be expected (35 hours per week)
