About this job
We are seeking an empathetic and motivated full time Support Worker to join a specialist team in multiple locations across Whangarei Central.
You will provide both practical and emotional support to help clients achieve their goals and maintain independence.
Your responsibilities may include: - Meal preparation - Personal care (showering, toileting, grooming) - Administering medication - Supporting community outings and social integration - Home management and daily living support

Job Requirements
We are looking for: - An updated CV with at least 2 contactable referees - Comfortable with the 'personal care' aspect of the role - Must live within 10-15km of Whangarei Central - Previous caregiving or healthcare experience (desirable but not essential) - Computer literacy and ability to use Apps - Excellent communication skills and flexibility to work alternative weekends - High level of resilience, with an ability to cope with change and to be flexible - Be able to pass the police vetting checks - Must hold a full driver’s licence and have access to own vehicle, as driving may be required during work to assist with some tasks, as well as for commuting to and from the workplace.
- Days of work
- Roster is either Monday to Saturday or Sunday to Friday. Hours are between 7:30am to 6:30pm. (30 hours per week)
