ActionZone is Northland's ultimate entertainment destination, bringing together tenpin bowling, laser tag, arcade games, pool, food and drinks all under one roof. We're looking for an enthusiastic Duty Manager to help lead our team and keep the fun rolling.

This is not a role where you'll stand behind a desk. You'll be leading by example, supporting customers, helping your team, serving food and drinks, running events, solving problems, and making sure every guest leaves with a smile. If you're willing to jump in wherever needed—even cleaning toilets when required—you could be exactly who we're looking for.

What You'll Be Doing • Leading shifts and supporting team members • Delivering exceptional customer service • Serving food and beverages • Assisting with food preparation • Supervising private functions, parties and events • Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming venue • Supporting bowling, arcade and entertainment operations • Ensuring compliance with host responsibility requirements • Creating memorable experiences for customers of all ages

Hours • Approximately 30 hours per week • Typical shifts: 4.30pm – 9.30pm • Additional hours available for private events and functions • Some flexibility available for the right person, however weekend availability is essential

• Current Duty Manager's Licence preferred. OR • Current LCQ with at least 12 months' experience and willing and eligible to obtain a Duty Manager's Licence. • Strong leadership and communication skills. • Confident, outgoing and approachable personality. • Comfortable working with people from all walks of life. • Patient, kind and community-minded. • Reliable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. • Happy to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. • Minimum Restricted Driver Licence, own reliable vehicle. • Available to work evenings and weekends, including both Saturday and Sunday.
