Factory Staff

Southland/Gore: Our local employer is looking to employ a Full-time, Factory Staff member to join their team in Gore.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to start or build a career in manufacturing, aluminium joinery, or the trades industry.

You’ll be working as part of a team manufacturing high quality aluminium windows and doors for homes and businesses across Southland

Duties include but are not limited to: • Factory assembly work • Handling aluminium joinery products • Using tools and machinery • Working as part of a team to meet production targets • Learning new manufacturing skills

Days and hours: • Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm • This role offers 40 hours per week.

Pay Rate: $23.95 per hour.

You must have the below prerequisites to be considered for this role: • Reliable and motivated people • Good attitude and willingness to learn • Team players who take pride in their work • Physically fit and able to work in a factory environment • People wanting to build a long-term career • Manufacturing or joinery experience is helpful but not essential • Have a recent CV with contactable references • You must be able to pass a police check and pre-employment drug test, as part of the employment process. • Hold New Zealand citizenship or have New Zealand Permanent Residency.
