Technician / Fitter role

We based in East Tamaki are currently looking for a technician/ fitter to work in our fitting / installation area of the business as full time. We are a fast-growing manufacturer, wholesaler, and fitter of quality towbars and automotive accessories.
About the Role
In this accessory installer role you will be installing towbars, ute hard lids, roof racks and other vehicle accessories. You will also assist the team with kitting and wrapping towbars for dispatch.
To succeed in this role, you will need a positive, friendly manner be physically fit and able to lift and install towbars and other accessories that sometimes weigh 25+ kg’s (where appropriate this will be a 2-person lift). You will thrive in a busy environment and enjoy working collaboratively to achieve the best outcome for customers and the team.
Daily Tasks & Responsibilities • Installation of towbars and wiring solutions • Installation of ute hard lids and canopies • installation of vehicle accessories • Assist with final product assembly • Flame wrapping and packaging
Job Requirements
• A self-starter who uses initiative and is organised • Previous experience in fitting automotive accessories is a must. • Mature attitude, with a strong work ethic and a ‘can do’ attitude • Good communication skills • Enjoy working as part of a team, with a friendly helpful attitude • Accurate with attention to detail • Follow supplied check procedure • Vehicle wiring • Vehicle Bumper Removal • Towbar installation • Liaise with Admin and Sales team in a professional manner • Ability to liaise with customers if necessary • A full driver’s licence is required
