We’re looking for a reliable and friendly Catering Assistant to support our busy club kitchen. This role is hands on, varied, and perfect for someone who enjoys flexible work and being part of a fun, community focused environment.
About the Role As a Catering Assistant, you’ll help deliver high quality food and service during club days, events, and tournaments. You’ll work across food preparation, customer service, and general kitchen support to keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities • Provide catering services during Club Days (Wednesday–Sunday) • Assist with catering for events, tournaments, and special bookings • Prepare basic food items such as sandwiches, pies, chips, wedges, fish & chips, and salads • Maintain and update the Chomp catering digital system • Manage and maintain the Food Plan • Purchase food, beverages, and equipment as required • Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and compliant with food safety standards • Support the overall objectives of the club with general duties as needed

Job Requirements
What We’re Looking For • At least 6 months’ experience in fast food or hospitality with food handling • Fluent English and a friendly personality (a sense of humour is a bonus!) • Able to work under pressure during busy periods • Strong organisational and time management skills • Reliable, professional, customer focused, and able to work alone after training • Understanding of food safety standards • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge (advantage but not essential) • Food & Hospitality Certificate (desirable but not essential) • Able to prepare basic food items.

- Wednesday to Sunday 5–7 hours per day. Between 9am and 10pm (Hours vary depending on bookings) (30 hours per week)
