We are seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our passionate team as On Farm Assists. In this role, you will support dairy farmers across various locations (Te Awamutu, Matamata, Waharoa, Ngahinapouri), contributing to improved productivity and farm performance. Each candidate would be assigned to one location. This is a seasonal or casual position, with the season typically running from July/August through to April/May each year. As an On Farm Assist, you will travel to dairy farms within your region to provide essential operational support. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same.

Your responsibilities will include a wide range of on-farm activities such as: • Providing herd test support during milking • Conducting DNA sampling • Assisting with herd audits • Weighing animals • Supporting farmers and field-based staff to deliver high-quality services

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working outdoors, are passionate about animal welfare, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service. You will play a key role in ensuring a positive experience for farmer customers. You will be joining a leading Agri-Tech and dairy herd improvement cooperative with over 100 years of experience. Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following:

Physical and Work Conditions • Physically fit and capable of performing active, hands-on tasks • Comfortable working in a rural, outdoor farm environment • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and afternoons

Qualifications and Experience • A full, current New Zealand driver’s licence and own transport (essential) • Legal right to work in New Zealand (essential) • Practical, hands-on approach with an understanding of, and empathy for, the New Zealand dairy industry (preferred)

Additional Expectations • Ability to build positive relationships with farmers and team members • Commitment to maintaining high standards of animal welfare and service delivery . Must pass a drug test and MOJ

Days of work
Early start, 4:30am or 5:00am and 2:00pm (split shifts) From Sunday to Friday (25 hours per week)
