Food & Beverage Supervisor

As the F&B Supervisor, you will oversee daily food and beverage operations, lead and support a front-of-house team, and ensure high-quality customer service is delivered at all times. You will play a hands-on role in service, staff coordination, and maintaining a safe and compliant environment that meets the needs of both clients and customers.

This is a Permanent Full Time position in Epsom with 40 hours per week during education terms, as this is located at a private day and boarding school.

Your Responsibilities: • Supervise and allocate tasks to F&B staff during shifts, supporting service delivery and assisting with food preparation when required. • Provide exceptional customer service, including prompt responses to customer needs, managing complaints, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. • Oversee food and beverage service, including table service and beverage dispensing, ensuring service standards are consistently met. • Maintain clean, organised, and hygienic front-of-house and back-of-house areas, including equipment cleaning and waste handling. • Complete cash-handling duties, prepare espresso beverages, communicate effectively with the team, and uphold all company policies and safety requirements.

• Hold NZQF Level 4 qualification or must have at least three years’ relevant hospitality and supervisory experience.

• Natural leader with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate and support a team.

• Reliable, hardworking, and adaptable with a strong customer service focus and passion for hospitality.

• Physically fit, well presented, and able to thrive under pressure in a busy hospitality environment.
