Retail Assistant

We have a very busy service station serving through traffic along one of our South Island's main Alpine Pass routes, we also provide service our local rural farming community. We're looking for an assistant in our expanding service station and store. Duties will include; Customer service, fuel and other automotive accessories sales and support; cash, till/card handling; inwards and outwards goods control; maintaining the clean and efficient presentation of our products and services. Ensuring a high standard of service and support for our customers, those living locally and those passing through s they enjoy the hospitality of our community. There is private accommodation available locally, this is a great role for someone who enjoys meeting people and supporting them on their travels. It's perfect for someone who enjoys being part of a rural community.
Job Requirements
Candidates should be physically fit and healthy; able to lift 20Kg weight; available to work a rotational roster including weekends, late evenings and on-call support; our supervisors must have at least 1 year of relevant work experience and be able to provide work references
