A locally owned small business (Kaitaia based) is looking for a creative and motivated Marketing & Client Engagement Coordinator to support its growing brands across the construction and wellness sectors.
This varied role combines digital marketing, client engagement, and administrative support. You will help maintain the businesses' online presence, connect with potential clients, and assist with marketing initiatives designed to grow brand awareness and generate new opportunities.
Full training will be provided to help you understand the businesses, their services, and how to effectively engage with clients. The role also offers flexibility and the opportunity for additional hours as the businesses continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities Manage and schedule content across social media platforms. Update and maintain websites and Google Business profiles. Engage with prospective clients via phone, email, and social media. Respond to enquiries and assist with managing sales pipelines. Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and special offers. Monitor marketing activities and identify opportunities for improvement. Ensure consistent branding and messaging across both businesses. Assist with events, promotions, and community engagement activities.
About the Work Environment: You will be joining two community-focused small businesses that value creativity, initiative, and collaboration. Working closely with the business owners, you'll have the opportunity to contribute across a range of projects while developing your marketing and client engagement skills in a supportive and flexible environment.

Job Requirements
Candidate Requirements • Previous experience in marketing, social media, or client engagement. • Confident using Facebook, Instagram, Google Business, and basic website platforms. • Strong communication skills across phone, email, and social media. • Able to manage multiple tasks and platforms independently. • Experience creating and scheduling social media content. • Understanding of basic marketing and lead generation. • Good organisational and time management skills. • Creative with strong attention to detail and branding. • Reliable transport to and from work.
