Kiwifruit orchard workers - Te Puke
About this job
We have an opportunity for people who enjoy outdoor work, motivated and a good team player in the Pukehina area which is approximately 25 kilometres east of Te Puke.
This work includes pruning and tying down of both Red and Gold kiwifruit vines on pergola structures as well as summer vine management tasks for those who perform well.
It involves being on your feet and working above head and shoulders height for long periods of time therefore a good level of fitness is required.
This work is weather dependant with up to 5 to 6 days of work available. For health and safety reasons, closed footwear must be worn on-orchard – gumboots are suitable.
Tools are provided by the employer.
You will be required to have secured accommodation within daily distance to the location area prior to applying.
Job Requirements
Own reliable transport to get to the various orchards. Covered in footwear to be worn. Previous experience is an advantage but not necessary Must pass a pre employment drug test.
