Transfer Station Sorter/Loader Operator

We are currently seeking a reliable and physically fit Transfer Station Sorter with experience operating loaders and forklifts to join our team.

About the Role This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, within a busy transfer station environment. You will be responsible for sorting materials, maintaining site cleanliness, and supporting operations using heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities • Manual sorting of waste and recyclable materials • Operating a loader and forklift safely and efficiently • Sweeping and maintaining a clean, tidy work environment • Assisting with general site duties as required • Following all health and safety procedures

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience operating a loader and forklift (essential) • Valid forklift endorsement • Full Class 1 driver licence • Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and repetitive tasks • Strong work ethic with a positive, energetic attitude • Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment • Good awareness of health and safety practices
