Security Guard

Our client is seeking experienced, highly professional Security Guards to join us in various Auckland locations. These are frontline based roles supporting active environments where strong situational awareness, judgement, and communication are essential.

You will play a key role in protecting people, assets, and sensitive site operations while maintaining a calm, approachable, and professional presence at all times.

Key Responsibilities can include: - Providing great customer service by greeting everyone and scanning tickets - Maintaining a secure environment by conducting security screens including bag checks and scans - Helping patrons find their way in the venue by finding their seats and locating other amenities - Assisting with crowd and vehicle control - Keeping event attendees safe and secure

- Must have a current COA Experience - No prior security experience required; up to 2 years depending on the roles (Casual roles) - Must pass Ministry of Justice criminal check and drug screening. - Well-presented and professional appearance. - Agile and physically fit – able to stand and walk for long periods. - Excellent communication skills – clear, confident, and approachable. - Friendly, customer-focused, and passionate about helping people. - Reliable, resilient, and able to work under pressure. - Strong customer service background (retail or hospitality ideal). - Ability to work well in a team environment. - Flexible for rostered shifts (24/7), including nights and weekends.
