Security Officer
About this job
Security Work Lower Hutt and Wellington. Looking for People with a COA security certificate and a full licence. Work involves driving to check sites, responding to alarms, atm response work and other duties. Must be available for 24/7 rostering. Initially On-call and casual work, 8 to 50 hours pw. Usual shifts are 10-12 hours, and 4 days on, 4 days off once established. Will need to pass 5 security modules in-house before starting. Can be done at work. Full Uniform and equipment proivded.
Job Requirements
Hold a current Certificate of Approval (COA), either temporary or full.
Full Driver Licence and reliable transport.
Able to pass a drug screening and Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check (no prior criminal convictions).
Presentable, professional, and a clear communicator in English.
Flexible and available to work day and night shifts.
Willing to start on a casual basis, with the potential to transition to a permanent role for the right candidate demonstrating reliability and a strong fit.

- Various depending on need. 7 days, days & night shifts available. Usual shifts 12 hours (EG 6am-6pm) (20 hours per week)
