Retail Assistant

Full-time Retail Assistant - Provide customer service and product information to assist with purchases. Replenish shelves and ensure products are neatly displayed and adequately stocked. Monitor product quality by checking expiry dates and rotating stock to maintain freshness and reduce wastage. Operate the point-of-sale system and process cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately. Receive deliveries, check incoming stock, and organise items in storage and display areas. Maintain store cleanliness and ensure shelves, counters, and aisles are tidy and well presented. Assist with setting up promotional displays and in-store offers. Check pricing and update shelf labels to ensure accuracy. Work collaboratively with team members to support smooth and efficient store operations. Follow company procedures and comply with health and safety requirements, including reporting hazards.

• Relevant experience is preferred but not mandatory, as we provide full training. • Reliable, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. • Flexible to work shifts, including early starts, late finishes, weekends, and public holidays. • Able to work independently as well as part of a team. • Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods. • Hardworking with a positive and motivated attitude.
