Assistant Store Manager – Fashion Retail (Onehunga)

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Store Manager to support the success of a busy fashion retail store in Onehunga.

This is a full-time opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys working closely with a team to deliver strong sales results and exceptional customer experiences.

About the role:

As Assistant Store Manager, you will work alongside the Store Manager to drive store performance, support team development, and ensure every customer has a memorable shopping experience. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a positive, energetic store culture.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators • Coaching, mentoring, and motivating team members • Delivering outstanding customer service and enhancing the in-store experience • Assisting with daily store operations, including stock management and visual merchandising • Maintaining high store presentation and brand standards

What we’re looking for:

• Must have minimum 1 year previous leadership or supervisory experience, ideally within fashion retail • Most updated CV outlining experience • Strong communication and team leadership skills • A proactive, hands-on approach with a positive attitude • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment • Confidence in achieving sales, wage, and stock control targets • A genuine passion for fashion and customer engagement • Must be flexible to work weekends and late nights as required • Must be able to pass an MOJ / Drug check as required
