Cafe Barista

We are looking for an experienced and customer focused Cafe Barista to join our team based in Hobsonville. If you are passionate about great coffee, enjoy working in a fast paced environment, and take pride in delivering excellent service, this could be the perfect role for you.

You will be an important part of the team, creating high quality drinks while helping deliver a welcoming and efficient cafe experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and serving coffee and espresso based drinks such as flat white, latte, and cappuccino • Maintaining coffee machines, grinders, and equipment including cleaning and calibration • Taking customer orders using the counter and point of sale system • Serving cabinet food and menu items as required • Handling payments and operating the till • Keeping the cafe clean and organised including tables, counters, floors, and customer areas • Restocking milk, cups, coffee beans, and other supplies • Following food safety and hygiene standards at all times • Providing friendly and professional customer service and responding to requests

• At least a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role • Passion for coffee and consistent drink quality • Strong customer service skills and positive attitude • Able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment • Reliable and a strong team player • Good communication skills • Can pass a MOJ check
