General Hand

A Dargaville based employer is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Hand Roofing Labourer to join their team and assist the lead roofer. While the role is based in Dargaville, travel to surrounding areas including Whangarei, Kaikohe, and Kerikeri will be required using a company ute.

This is a hands-on position involving a variety of roofing and general labouring tasks, making it ideal for someone who is physically fit, motivated, and eager to learn. Some of the tasks include but are not limited to: • Assisting with roofing work on residential and commercial projects. • Lifting and carry materials. • Climbing ladders and working at heights. • Digging and general site preparation. • Maintaining a safe and tidy worksite.

The successful applicant will have: • Good physical fitness with the ability to lift, carry, and climb safely • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills • Reliability and punctuality • Professional communication skills when dealing with customers and team members • A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
