Shift Manager

A local nationwide fast food restaurant chain is seeking a person to work as a Shift Manager. This is a hands-on position and you will also work to make and serve: big, bold, deliciousness great burgers to everyone. You will also be responsible to supervise a small team of Fast Food workers (Cooks & Kitchen Hands) and support them to be successful by coaching, ensuring breaks are taken, that all operational standards are met including food safety, quality and customer measures. You will also problem solve should issues arise and escalate to experts as required, ensure the health and safety of all employees, assist with promoting restaurant profitability and maximising customer opportunities. You will need at least 1 years team management experience including overseeing the duties of team members in fast food or a similar food, hospitality or retail environment. You will also require great people and customer service skills, exceptional communication skills with the ability to create a positive culture and working environment. Experience on how to on-board new employees and with staff training and motivation is an advantage, unpacking stock deliveries and inventory (including some heavy lifting and you must be able to work some night and weekend shifts.
