Courier Driver

A Mt Roskill based employer is seeking a reliable Courier Driver to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role involves delivering parcels to businesses and residential customers in West Auckland.

The company vehicle must be collected from the depot in Mt Roskill at the start of the shift and returned there at the end of the shift.

Daily duties include: • Delivering parcels to businesses and private homes in West Auckland • Navigating delivery routes efficiently and safely, including urban, residential & hilly areas • Handling customers’ parcels and purchased items with care and professionalism • Maintaining courteous and respectful customer service at all times • Keeping the vehicle in good order and advise the owner promptly of any repairs or maintenance required

Must hold a clean, full Class 1 NZ Driver's Licence with confidence driving on winding and hilly roads

Candidates are required to pass specific logistical and safety modules before starting.

Familiarity with routes around West Auckland is essential, as the role involves heavy lifting, navigating traffic & completing deliveries across both urban and residential areas

Must be physically fit and healthy, as role requires constantly getting in and out of the vehicle

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test & police check

A good automotive and mechanical mind will be an advantage
