We are looking for a driven and commercially minded FMCG Sales Manager to take ownership of sales growth across the Whangarei region, strengthen key relationships, and expand the company’s footprint.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, field-based role where you will be out on the road daily, managing existing accounts and actively developing new business opportunities. You will work closely with supermarkets and grocery retailers that stock the company’s products, while identifying and securing new clients.

This is a fully remote, work-from-home role with no physical office based in Whangarei. Candidates must be comfortable working independently from home while managing their territory.

You will be required to use your own vehicle for daily travel, however, all petrol and vehicle maintenance costs will be fully covered by the company. A company laptop and mobile phone will also be provided.

This role will suit someone who understands the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) landscape and enjoys building relationships, closing deals, and talking confidently about products.

Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including supermarkets, independent grocers, and food service clients • Identify emerging market trends and proactively pursue new business opportunities • Regularly visit customers to manage product presence, promotions, and performance in-store • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong product knowledge • Analyse sales activity and provide insights and reporting to senior management

Job Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years’ experience in B2B sales, ideally within FMCG or a related industry • Full driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle • No criminal convictions and able to pass a drug test and Child Offending Risk check • Strong understanding of the FMCG market and retail environment • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills • Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to manage a territory independently
