Assistant Manager

An Auckland central restaurant is looking for a new Assistant Manager.
• Assisting with the overall day-to-day operations of the takeaway • Supervising staff during shifts and supporting team coordination • Delivering excellent customer service and resolving customer enquiries professionally • Assisting with stock ordering, receiving deliveries, and inventory control • Monitoring food display presentation and maintaining hygiene standards • Supporting menu preparation workflow and service efficiency • Assisting with daily cash handling, reconciliation, and record keeping • Ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations • Maintaining workplace cleanliness and operational standards • Supporting staff training and performance monitoring • Assisting the Manager with rostering and operational planning • Handling operational issues during the Manager’s absence when required
Job Requirements
- Must have a relevant qualification in Hospitality Management / Business. - Must have at least 6 months expereince in hospitality. - Must be available for rostered shifts and weekend work.
- Days of work
- Mon-Sun 10.00AM-5.00PM (rostered shifts) (30 hours per week)
