Support Worker

A Palmerston North–based support agency is seeking a dedicated individual to join its team, providing one-on-one support to a person within the local community. While formal qualifications or prior experience in care are not essential, applicants must demonstrate a compassionate and empathetic nature, along with strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships. The successful candidate will be required to undertake relevant training and work towards recognised care qualifications as part of their ongoing development in the role. Due to the specific requirements of this position, applications will be considered from male candidates only. Candidates with a background in security, conflict management, or de-escalation techniques will be highly regarded.
