Ramp Agents

A global aviation services company providing a range of ground-handling and support services in the Auckland Airport Precinct is seeking Ramp Agents. As a Ramp Agent you will support airlines by ensuring luggage and cargo reaches its intended destination on time and in the best possible condition, while maintaining policies, standards and safety requirements of the customer and the Company. Main accountabilities include: 1. Baggage Assist with the operation of the automated Baggage Handling System Receive, weigh (where applicable), and deliver crew baggage and personal effects to and from aircraft Safely, securely, and correctly stow baggage on departing aircraft Unload arriving baggage in line with inbound load messages and deliver baggage to designated areas Use two-way radio equipment correctly and maintain constant communication with the operation 2. Cargo Unload arriving cargo and hand over to the Cargo team Operate forklifts and mechanical lifting equipment Receive and accept export freight, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with IATA, airline, and regulatory requirements Break down imported freight, ensuring quantities and condition match the manifest Work collaboratively with flight operations teams on aircraft arrival and departure, including opening and closing aircraft doors and preparing aircraft stands Correct use and operation of two-way radio ensuring maintaining radio contact with the operation at all times

Support aircraft arrival and departure operations, including servicing and baggage handling. Safely operate ground support equipment and maintain radio communication at all times. Load, unload, and manage passenger baggage while assisting with baggage enquiries and transfer bags. Follow all airport safety, security, and operational procedures to ensure compliance and safe working practices. A minimum of three (3) years secondary school education. Holds a Full New Zealand Class 1 Driver's License Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, and wind, with limited or no shelter) Physically fit and no history of medical injuries or conditions. Efficient, Reliable, and well presented. Technology savvy Fluent in spoken and written English Flexible and available for shift work which includes early starts, late finishes, weekend, and public holiday work. Ability to work independently. Ability to work on a team. Attention to detail. Knowledge of aircraft safety procedures. (Ideal) Must be able to demonstrate problem-solving abilities. Must pass all pre-employment checks (MoJ, Medical and Reference) to gain airside permit
