Bus Driver

We have a local employer with a great opportunity to become a bus driver. The employer is looking for people with their class 2 licence for this role, but will consider people with a clean class 2L or class 1 full licence. Driver training will be provided as is assistance to get your P endorsement which is needed for the role. This is primarily a customer service role, so strong customer service skills are needed as you are working with people from all walks of life. Candidates will need to pass an MOJ(Police) check and pass a drug test. The position is casual part-time to begin with the potential to go fulltime as and when these hours become available. Candidates will need availability to work across a 7 day roster and be able to fill in at short notice particularly on the weekends and evenings.

Class 2 licence is preferred, a class 2L or class 1 full will also be considered. Pass an MOJ check and the drug test. Able to work across a 7 day roster which includes early morning starts and evenings. Strong customer service skills. Willing to undergo training as required for the role. Able to pass a medical as part of the P endorsement application process.
