Airvac Operator/ Class 4 Driver

A Mangere-based civil infrastructure company is looking for a casual full-time Airvac Operator with NZ Class 4 Drivers Licence to join their team.
In this role tasks will include: - Operating an Airvac vacuum excavation truck - Locating underground services safely using vacuum excavation techniques - Operating the truck remotely on-site - Assisting with labouring duties and supporting the crew as required - Working outdoors in all weather conditions - Maintaining a clean and safe worksite and following all health and safety procedures

They are a busy, hands-on team based in Mangere, working in a fast-paced outdoor environment where safety, teamwork, and reliability are key. This role involves a mix of machine operation and physical labour, with variety in daily tasks.

Job Requirements
- Full Class 4 NZ driver licence with no restrictions - Strong work ethic and positive attitude - Reliable attendance and punctuality - Health and safety focused - Must be Physically fit, agile, and comfortable working in dirty and wet conditions - Ability to work in a physically demanding environment - Must be willingness to work both day and night shifts - Must be available to work Weekends if required - Understanding the role involves approximately 4% driving and 96% operating/labouring

- Monday to Friday work (Day and night shifts) with occasional weekend shifts Hours vary between 6:00am – 6:00pm (40 hours per week)
