One of the worlds largest fleet management organisations is currently looking for Team Lead for their Fleet Services.
The Team Lead, Fleet Services NZ, is tasked with delivering account support as well as offering guidance and mentorship to the Fleet Services Consultants team, ensuring the consistent achievement of exemplary customer service standards. As a people leader, the incumbent will be responsible for coaching and mentoring team members to ensure an optimal customer experience. In addition, this role has accountability for all people related activities including but not limited to resourcing, recruitment, induction, onboarding, development, engagement, and retention of employees.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Fleet Services Consultants. Drive operational efficiency, workflow improvements, and service excellence. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, development, engagement, and retention activities. Monitor team performance against business goals and Balanced Scorecard metrics. Support client onboarding and ensure service requests are delivered to a high standard. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve processes and support change initiatives.
Job Requirements
Proven experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced service environment. Strong customer focus with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Process-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement. Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills; PowerPoint proficiency preferred. Fleet leasing or automotive industry experience highly regarded. 2–5 years leadership or team management experience, ideally in a B2B service environment. Relevant tertiary qualification preferred, or equivalent industry experience. Able to pass all pre-employment checks

- $90k + + 4% Kiwi Saver + 5% bonus paid annually in February
