Truck Driver Class 5

Employer based in Papakura, is seeking an experienced Class 5 Driver with 18-speed manual transmission experience to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining company trucks while transporting goods to designated locations across New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate and maintain company trucks in line with all regulations - Transport goods to designated locations nationwide - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections - Ensure all deliveries are completed on schedule - Accurately complete all required paperwork and logbooks - Comply with all road safety, fatigue management, and company policies

- Must hold a valid, clean Full Class 5 New Zealand Driver’s Licence - Proven safe driving record with a strong commitment to health and safety - Minimum 1 year of experience operating a Class 5 truck - Must be able to operate an 18-speed Roadranger manual transmission - Strong communication and time management skills - Physically fit and capable of loading and unloading goods - Flexible with working hours, including early morning starts (e.g. 3:00 am) or late-night shifts, depending on the roster - Available to work weekends, public holidays, and be flexible with schedules, including overnight or extended time away from home as required by dispatch - Minimum Level 1 NCEA (or equivalent) - Must be able to pass drug test and MOJ check
